Course Introduction 一、Course introduction 1. Mental and psychological diseases are increasing year by year. Psychiatric knowledge is becoming more and more important to medical staff and the public. With the rapid development of society, people's living pressure is increasing day by day. The incidence of sleep disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, depression and other mental diseases is increasing year by year. WHO announced that depression will rise to the second place in the world's top ten diseases burden spectrum by 2020. The problems of mental health, suicide, and self-injury in the elderly and children and adolescents have become increasingly prominent. However, the general public lacks understanding of mental illness and is unwilling to take the initiative to seek medical treatment. The recognition rate of mental illness by grassroots medical staff and general hospital doctors is not high, and it is prone to misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis, eventually leading to mental disability and even suicidal behavior. The popularization of psychiatric knowledge is particularly important. 2. The curriculum design is scientific and reasonable, the content is rich and comprehensive, the form is novel and diverse, fully satisfying the learning requirements of the students. The "Psychiatry" course combines the current epidemic situation of mental illness with the hot issues of concern to the general public and basically covers all the core contents of psychiatry. The course covers not only common psychiatric diseases such as schizophrenia, mood disorders and anxiety disorders but also psychotherapy and physical treatments. The curriculum system is reasonable in design and novel in form. The curriculum is led by an associate professor Fu Yixiao, a nationally renowned expert on mental and psychological diseases. A group of young and middle-aged backbone teachers are used as teaching teachers. A large number of clinical cases, videos of typical mental symptoms, videos of mental examination teaching and resources expansion are added. The comprehensive content cannot only deepen the understanding of theoretical knowledge, but also broaden students' horizons, cultivate students' clinical thinking, and enable students to better learn and master mental examination methods and skills. 3. Online teaching makes full use of modern and information technology, and attaches great importance to students' online experience and learning effect. Psychiatric knowledge is abstract and difficult to understand. To this end, the course combines teaching experience and feedback from students, focusing on problem-based, case-centered heuristic teaching methods; borrowing modern network animation technology to popularize and simplify advanced professional theories. Pay attention to the learning effect of online teaching, and enhance students' learning enthusiasm through after-class thinking questions, unit tests, case discussions, teaching interactions. In addition, the platform has also increased the monitoring and reminding functions of students' normal learning situation, which also plays a better role in supervising students' learning. 二、Teaching Objectives This course is a core required course for students majoring in clinical medicine in our school.
